Q. How do you start your day? Do you have a morning routine?
A. I am up at 4: 30 am and I am at the gym by 5:30 to train and do cardio than I am off to work
Q. How long have you been training?
A. I have been a competitive athlete my whole life but only have been training with weights for about 20 years
Q. What made you get into Fitness and Competition?
A. In University I decided to take my talents to another level so I challenged myself to prepare for my first Fitness show and my love and passion for the sport began from there.
Q. How many people have you encouraged into the sport since you started?
A. I have my own Team of competitors with Team Valente Athletics that I train and coach and I have successfully taken approximately over 25 girls into the top categories.
Q. How do you keep yourself motivated and on-track through the grueling dieting in the last few weeks?
A. The dieting doesnt really bother me when I prepare for a show you get used it as you prepare for show after show. I always want to be at my best and improve with every show and keeping that in mind keeps me on track.
Q. What do you feel is the most important thing athlete can have in order to be successful in this sport?
A. Always believe in yourself.Anything is possible. Only you can determine your path and nothing is ever out of reach.
Q. What is your favorite energy/pre-workout supplement? Protein supplement?
A. I love the GP3 by Advanced Genetics it gives me an amazing pump before my workout and I also use their Iso Phase Protein.
Q. How many days a week do you work out?
A. Right now i am prepping for the Arnolds so I am training 5 days a week with 2 rest days.
Q. How about tanning/makeup/hair preparation for a contest. Can you tell that I’m still overwhelmed?
A. This year I am Sponsored by Robert Novello of Hippie Hair concepts for all my shoots and events. His services are impecable and my make up is always done by my makeup artist Nelly Defino, she is truely the best artist when it comes to faces. My close Friend Melanie Gardner from Elite salon in Brockville has done my hair for my past shows and shoots and always did a remarkable job.
Q. What is your philosophy on diet?
A. Find what works for you and stick with it.

Q. Looking back on what you have accomplished so far, what is one thing you would change if you could, knowing what you do now?
A. To SLOW DOWN Ha ha and take time off to recovery . I am so driven that I push myself to the extreme and I dont rest enough which caused me all my injuries that I suffer from today. Also finding that balance between competing, family and friends.
Q. What is one of the biggest sacrifices you’ve made, and was it worth it?
A. I have sacrificed everything from family, friends, relationships amoung other things.As selfish as it sounds it was all worth it . I had a plan, went with it and the outcome was far than I imagined. I am too driven and detrmined for anything to stand in my way. Anyone who is close to me and supports me will understand why I do what I do.
Q. What do you feel is the most important thing a bodybuilder/fitness/figure/bikini can have in order to be successful in this sport?
A. First and foremost hire some one who is professional in the sport to help you with your journey and help ensure that you do your contest prep properly. keep a positive attitude, and remember everything is a learning experience. There will be bumps in the road but the end result is worth it. Do your homework and know that failure isnt an option.

A. My Gluten Free Pancakes with No sugar maple syrup

A. Capturing that IFBB Pro status and being the next biggest Fitness Icon in this industry. Continuing to be in the fitness Industry at a larger scale where ever that may take me to and seeing My Team Valente Athletics grow..

A. Where I am now in my life is from the extreme passion and drive I have to want to succeed. I am always looking to where, and how far I can take myself to. Failing isn’t an option for me. If you trust in what you love, continue to do it, it will lead you to where you need to go.
