Mama’s Boy Media, LLC.
Mama’s Boy Media, LLC. started officially in January 2006 as a Limited Liability Company in the State of Rhode Island. It is a one member LLC operated by myself (Joel Sheveck). The concept of a media company was however “born” much earlier.
I previously operated another LLC. back in New York which was a record label named “Mama’s Boy Records, LLC.”. When I closed that and moved to RI, I had set goals for myself. One which was to reopen up another company for my web design / photography. I kept the name and changed the last word to media as I will be doing a few niche websites and offering photo / web design services. So this is just the beginning….. and here is my site.
I began photographing when I was 8 or so. My brother always had a great eye for photographing and monkey see…monkey do.
In high school, I began shooting SLR. I took photography 1 + 2. I loved shooting photos, hated developing however I learned and it has helped me.
Since high school, I kept shooting SLR up to 2002. My camera kicked the bucket and I moved to a point and shoot digital. Well I fell in love with digital and now have a DSLR.
My photos have been published in The Southern Dutchess News, Nantucket.net, and Celebrator Beer News
