No Olympics for Chicago in 2016

Well guys it's official, no Olympics for Chicago in 2016. I am very pleased with this news. The Olympics would not of brought any money and only heartache to the city for many years, not to mention the taxes and money invested. How do you guys feel about this? Personally Chicago is just not ready to take on such a large event. Good for Rio.

i was kind of sad tho. really was good thing for chicago even lots of people were against it, but none of the countries who had Olympics ever lost money, and more jobs for next 7 years would help a lot. but this is not the point. I am happy for Rio cant be mad at them, but its just had to understand why Chicago didnt pasted even first round(we might know why, but whatever) So it was sad day at least for me, i didnt sleep that night wanted to see the presentation(which was great) and after that i went to the gym at 3am and after that was watching news, and like i said before never thought that this is how it would end for Chicago.

I was very suprised that they did not even get out of the first round. I have mixed feelings about them coming. It works out great form some and not so great for the others.

its always like this, you cant please everybody. but it was a shock tho, still everybody talks about it
