Hello Misty,
Its nice to have another upcoming athlete here who wants to reach some goals. But first thing first. Just one question for you. Why bodybuilding? Why not figure? I just need to know. What kind of mind set do you have for it. I can help you with everything, diet, training and so on and so forth.
The only one person who's going to do all the works is you
Give me a bit of the your background if you can, just how you started lifting and we'll go from there. One way or another i will help you.
And welcome to the board, its nice to have you here.

Here is some info!!!!!!
I have always loved to workout its my anti drug lol, I have talked to my phyiscal instructer who also did figure i beleave she is also in NPC from school and she explained bodybuilding figure and bikini to me and I realize I would rather do figure or bikini. The reason i want to do this is bc i would be uping what i love and also it shows i want to surround myself with people that love the samething i love to do Laura has started me in the right direction but its was just a summary of what i need.
i weigh 104 im on 5ft she said i need to gain some weight so she told me what to eat and told me i need to start my protein shakes which is champion pro 100 or synthia 6 i know u have to drink them 3 x a day but i dont get it do i still eat all three meals and then in between those meals do i drink them to cuz she said they are a meal in them self so how do i also go about they?
let me know what else you need to know i cant wait to get started if you need to know my diet let me know thank you so much for helping me with this im very grateful of you

ok girl this is what you need to look into:
1. Food
2. Training
Foods: for girls it is different than for guys, you need more fat in your diets. So your diet should contain items like that:
1.Eggs
2. Yogurt
3. Cottage Cheese
4. Fish (salmon, any white fish)
5. Chicken breast
6. Lean beef
For carbs and good fats as well:
1.White and brown rice ( depends on where you at with your prep for the show)
2. Backed potato (sweet, or baby reds)
3. Rice cakes (plain)
4. Nuts
5. Bread Ezekiel
6. Granny Smith apples
7. Water melon
And other fruits as well, but the whole is in balancing meals to your needs, to your look, to your health period. So this very simple things what you need.
For supplements, i am a believer in FOOD, do yo need extra protein, yes you need some. But only once or twice per day, but if you can get it all food in i am better with food, and use supplementation closer to the show. Vitamins, minerals, multivitamins and other supplements to help you lose weight is a MUST have things.
Ok training:
This is where a lot of people make mistakes. Training is training and there is no difference to me if you a girl or a boy, women or men who is training with weight. The only difference is you a girl and other person is boy. Training is the same to me as i told you before. You find the body-parts where you need to bring most of your attention to first and try to bring it in. And the same time train the other body parts as well, just dont get a wrong idea ;)
And the only thing might be different is, the CARDIO. You might have to do some sprints or other kind of cardio, to help you drop the unwanted fat from lets say tights or butt.
So the whole idea is:
1. DIET and the steps in your diet, when to change to what foods depending on the preparation for your show
2. Training smart, learning your body, adding right amount of muscle to the most needed body-parts. And loosing overall body fat and not forgetting to train the whole body at the same time.
This is a good start for you
