Yoga would definately be beneficial for kids, both mentally and spiritually. But in my opinion, kids need to get physical education as well, to help build cardio vascular health.
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.

Do not know that much about yoga myself but i can see how it would be benifical to the core, flexibility and balance. Also requires a great deal of concentration. The only time i ever saw it was when i was in college. The class took place in the gym and of course all us guys took a seat in the stands to watch. The instructor and most of the girls were very talented.

I haven't ever done any joga actually but I know a lot of people who have heart and breathing problems and yoga has helped them a lot. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that yoga IS good for ya.

I have yet to try yoga but I hope to soon. I have heard only good things about it and believe that it can be very beneficial in all walks of life.

I have had a lot of problems with muscle cramping and other muscular problems and recently started stretching. If anyone tries some yoga moves or knows any than post them up so we can get an idea of how to do it. I think that youtube has a lot of clips on it. At least that's what I have heard.
