Worst training routine
Ok i know lots you guys do change a lot of workout routines and i know sometimes people are frustrated with all new stuff coming out in the magazines and some other big guy said something to somebody who told you this and that and you went for it.
I mean come on lets be honest and say it how it is. I know when i started i was really silly and stupid and knew lets say NOTHING about this sport and i put my body thru hell LOL. But at least i learned few things and started from there.
So again what is the worst or best thing you put your body thru, what you learned from it?

I would have to say when you try to go that extra one more rep of a heavier weight, have a damn spotter! There is nothing worse than pinning yourself and having to crush yourself from your chests to your nuts to roll the weight off of you. OUCH!!

I'd like to think most of my training routines gave me a little in return. But, I'd say that in my youth, I used to have so much determination that I used to train so hard everyday for a few hours. So, I'd have to say that it was counter productive, and my worst training routine. But, with age came wisdom and the philosophy to train smarter not harder.
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.

For my experience i would have to agree with Cuda. Nothing worse than being stuck under some heavy weight. Lucky for me I was able to lean the wieght to one side and slide it off the bar. I also dropped a power cling bar on my damn knee once. I had a wrist injury and tried to push through it but it ended up casued me a knee injury as well. I still have the dent in my muscle just above my knee fomr it.
